Strong IIB development experience.
Strong MQ experience
SQL experience (Intermediate level) - Oracle knowledge is preferred
Linux experience (intermediate level)


seeking an IBM Integration Bus consultant to support a Government mission driven project for a large integrator. Candidates will need to go through a background investigation and a federal public trust clearance. Candidates can start work prior to acquiring the public trust.

Responsibilities:

Support Technology Solution Development and Integration across the SDLC including requirements, functional specs, design, custom development, integration, testing, and deployment
Perform project tasks independently
Participate in the development of deliverable content
Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of technology consulting or other relevant industry experience
Experience working independently with minimal supervision and guidance
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with experience exercising mature judgment
Proven experience effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives
Demonstrated ability to write clearly, succinctly, and in a manner that appeals to a wide audience
Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation creation tools, as well as Internet research tools Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, SCRUM, RUP, other)
Experience working with business users to gather requirements, writing functional and technical specifications and communicating technical requirements
Must be able to obtain and maintain required clearance for this role
IBM Integration developer who should have hands on experience working with IBM Integration Bus v8 or above
Minimum experience required is 2 years on IBM Integration Bus, MQ and IBM WebSphere.
Preferred:

Degree in computer science, information systems, or other technology-related field
Software development experience using object-oriented languages (i.e., Java, C#, C++) and frameworks (i.e. J2EE or .NET)
Knowledgeable in software quality concepts such documenting source code and software language specific code quality practices
Understanding of software development team management support tools such as IBM Jazz, HP ALM, JIRA and Collabnet
Experience in Test Driven Development (TDD)
IBM Messaging Middleware: mqseries;
IBM websphere mq; IBM websphere mq workflow
