Position : Epic Reporting Analyst

Job Description

Epic Reporting and Analytics Consultant with experience in Financial BI & MDM as well as Crystal and Tableau.


Required Skills:
• Development:
o Strong MS SQL Server SQL, SAP/BOE, Crystal reports, Epic-Crystal Integration (ECI), BI Lanuchpad (InfoView).
o Clarity Data Model certifications in 2 or more of the following: Resolute HB, Resolute PB, Tapestry. Experience in writing at least 50+ reports in the Epic financial space (charges, RVUs, payments, bed days, denials, etc.)
o Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau (at least 10+ dashboards)

• Finance Background :
o Experience in providing reporting/analytics solutions with finance, revenue cycle, revenue integrity, payer contracting highly preferred. Experience in supporting audits, grants, and revenue programs desired.

• Consultancy:
o Consultant communication skills and Software Development Life Cycle discipline: gathering & documenting and confirming requirements gathering, designing solution, obtaining SME signoff, coding, testing/validation, UAT, SME signoff & documentation
o Ability to coalesce related requests and offer solutions that satisfy multiple requirements
o Estimates work effort, and reports Actual Hours against those estimates, especially for multiple concurrent work streams
o Provides weekly “Issue/Risk/Accomplishment/Plans” Status Reports for assigned work; identifies problems and issues and recommends solutions

• Mentorship and instilling best practice: ability to transition work, train both end users and staff, and provide mentorship to staff analysts on areas of domain expertise.
Desired Skills:
• Caboodle, addl Epic Data Models or Applications (per above list); RWB, RADAR would also be helpful
