Work with a team of application and system engineers in automating and streamlining processes through the development of frameworks, implementation of standards, processes and controls in release and deployment activities
Work collaboratively with globally distributed project and operational teams to ensure consistent approaches to program delivery
Understand CI/CD/CM tools such as Jenkins, ELK, Splunk
Work with team lead to implement metrics required to increase transparency in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
Perform research and development into commercial and open source software and hardware solutions needed to support the Security Development branch
Document solutions and findings to needed POC and tasks.
Hands on experience and knowledge of DevOps tools, CI/CD/CM trends and best practices with an eye toward improving existing solutions
Minimum 4 years of technical experience in DevOps engineering
Solid background in Linux/Unix administration
Comfortable with RHEL and bash environment
Strong understanding of Agile and the software development life cycle, specifically design, debugging, testing and documentation
Demonstrated experience creating and/or maintaining continuous integration/continuous deployment/automated configuration management systems
Working knowledge of Puppet, git and GitHub, Ansible, Jenkins, CAST, SonarQube, Selenium, AWS environment, Junit. WhiteHat, CloudBees, Liquibase, Docker, AppDynamics, Splunk, Nexus, JIRA, PAAS platforms or similar.
General familiarity with at least one programming language (Java, PHP, Ruby, Python)
Experience in information security and compliance is a plus
Experience developing in Angular is a great plus.
